South Bend's police officers have picked Democrat Pete Buttigieg for their candidate for mayor in November.

The Fraternal Order of Police made their announcement today after opening up a vote to all current officers and retirees who are in the FOP.

The FOP interviewed Buttigieg, republican Wayne Curry, and libertarian Pat Farrell before the vote.

They say the vote came out overwhelmingly in favor of Buttigieg.

South Bend's mayoral election is on Tuesday, November 8th.
